Make something new with old and discarded house hold materials. There are a lot of things you could make with your old stuff. Instead of throwing away your house hold junk, why not reinvent them and turn them into something fun and exciting, like a rocket ship.
Materials Needed
Old and non-working CD's
Glue Gun
Glue sticks
Crafts Glue
Buttons
Colored Markers
Old and broken-off toy pieces
Tissue paper Rolls Cartons
Popsicle Sticks
Procedure:
1. Design your rocket ship.
2. Connect your Old CD's to the ends of your tissue paper rolls using your glue gun and glue stick. For this project 3 tissue paper rolls were used. You could also try painting the tissue paper rolls or covering them with colored paper for effect.

3. Make a pyramid from these, using 2 pcs. as base and 1 on top. Connect them together using your glue gun

4. Use your Popsicle sticks to make yourself a pair of wings. Stick them to the body of your rocket ship using your glue gun or crafts glue.

5. Select pieces of your broken-off toys that could serve as your rockets engines or guns. Connect them to your rocket ship using your crafts glue.
6. Decorate the sides of your rocket ship using your buttons and crafts glue.7. Use your colored markers to write the name of your rocket ship or add some more effects.
8. Let your work dry for the glue to harden.
