Transferring Sandpaper Art into your shirt or cloth bags

A different way of making use of your sandpaper art. Wish you could wear or carry around your sand paper art? You could actually transfer your favorite sandpaper drawings into a plain shirt or cloth bag using a process called heat transfer...

Materials Needed:

Sandpaper (different textures produces different effects)
A Box of Crayons (Try Glow in the dark Crayons for effect)
Plain sheet of paper
A plain shirt or cloth bag
A Flat Iron

Procedure:

1. Decide on the pattern or illustration you are going to create.
2. Using your box of crayons draw like crazy and produce the art work you desire (experiment with different textures of sandpaper).

3. Since you would be transferring your artwork into a different medium, the image that will be transferred into your shirt or cloth bag will become inverted. Just imagine that you are looking at the image from a mirror, so you could produce the correct orientation.

4. Select the medium you would want to transfer your artwork into (Plain shirt or Cloth bag).
5. Position the sand paper on top of the area you are going to transfer the image to.
6. Place a clean sheet of paper underneath the shirt or cloth bag to prevent the crayon from passing to the back.
7. Iron the sandpaper until the crayon has completely melted and the image has transferred to the shirt or cloth bag.

8. Congratulations your done...
