Make Your Own Chocolate Cake

Make Your Own Chocolate Cake from some art supplies, a paper plate and a lot of imagination. Have lots of fun with your child designing your own chocolate cake.

Materials Needed:

A Small Paper Plate
Brown Poster Paint
Crafts Glue
Glitters
Colored Paper
Cotton Balls
Brush

Procedure:

1. Turn your Paper Plate upside down and attach it to your Colored Paper using your Crafts Glue.
2. Using your Brown Poster Paint and Brush, color the center of your Paper Plate.
3. Attach your cotton balls to the top of your paper plate with glue. This will serve as the  marsh mallow effect for your cake.
4. Sprinkle some Glitters on top for effect.
5. Congratulations your done...

Create an Abstract Art using Marbles

A messy and creative way of making an Abstract piece of art using some paint and marbles.

Materials Needed:

Poster Paint
A piece of paper
A small bowl
A plastic container (enough to fit a sheet of paper)
Marbles or Ball bearings (different sizes)
Glitter

Procedure:

1. Place a piece of paper inside a plastic container.
2. Pour the poster paints into the small bowls.
3. Dip the Marbles or Ball Bearings into the bowls of paint.
4. Place the dipped Marbles or Ball Bearings into the plastic container with the piece of paper.
5. Shake like crazy and see what figures you can make. Experiment with different color
   combinations and different sizes of Marbles and Ball bearings.
6. Sprinkle a dash of Glitter for effect.
7. Congratulations your done...

Make your own necklace

With common art supplies and tools you and your child could create your own necklace out of scratch...

Materials Needed:

Colored papers
Card Board
Pencil
Scissor
Puncher
Yarn
Crafts glue
Foam shapes
Glitters
Glitter Shapes

Procedure:

1. From a piece of card board draw and cut the desired shape of your necklace.
2. Decorate your cut-out necklace with your Foam Shapes and Crafts Glue. Go crazy and
   stick the Foam Shapes on your Crafts Glue in any arrangement you want...
3. Be more adventurous and add some glitter shapes or cut-out more figures using your colored paper. 4. Sprinkle some glitters for effect.
5. Punch a hole and put a piece of yarn for a chain.
6. Congratulations your done...

Simple Clay Art (Basic Shapes)

A simple and easy way to make art from clay. Have loads of fun with your child using clay as a medium...

Materials Needed:

Modelling Clay
Clay Modeling Tools
Sand
Crafts Glue
Colored Paper

Procedure:

1. Roll and flatten a piece of modelling clay. You could choose from a variety of a colors.
2. Using a variety forming shapes, you could form any figure that you want. In this case we
   used a fish shape for this sample.
3. Apply some glue on one side of the clay figure and dip it on some sand for effect.
4. Apply some glue on the other side of the clay and stick it on a piece of colored paper.
5. Congratulations your done...
