Foil Art (Create Your Own Night Scene)


You can create a wonderful piece of art out of foil, some art materials and a lot of imagination. For this activity we will be creating a night sky scene.

Materials Needed:

A piece of foil
Black poster paint
A brush
Glue

Colored paper
A piece of paper
A Pencil
Scissors
Glitters

Procedure:
1. Cut out a piece of foil and  attach it to a piece of paper to prevent it from moving or being crumpled.
2. Cover the foil with black poster paint and allow it to slightly dry.
3. Draw star shapes of different sizes on your colored paper.
4. Cut the stars and glue them onto your foil.
5. Sprinkle some glitters on your work for effect.
6. Congratulations your done...

Paper Plate Clock


Create your own clock from paper plates which you and your child could use to learn and practice reading time.

Materials needed:

1 Paper plate
Permanent markers
1 Round head fastener
Cutter
A Piece of Carboard

Procedure:

1. Draw the numbers from 1-12 on your paper plate. You can also draw the numbers on colored paper, cut and paste them on the paper plate.

2. Using your card board draw and cut the hands of the clock.
3. Using your cutter, make an incision on the center of the paper plate and the ends of the clock hands.
4. Attach the hands of the clock to the paper plate using the round head fastener.
5. Congratulations your done...

Make Your Own Loot Bag


You can create your own loot bag. All you need is a paper bag, some art materials, & a lot of

imagination. Make your personalized loot bag  for your special occasion.


Materials Needed:

A Paper bag
A pencil
Permanent Markers
Crayons
Colored Pencil
Colored Paper
Glue


Procedure:

1. Using your pencil sketch the design your child wants on the paper. This would be easier for
them to trace the design themselves. You can either draw shapes, animals, figures, or your
child's favorite cartoon characters. The design is only limited by your imagination.

2. Darken the design using the permanent marker.
3. You can either color the design or cover it using the colored paper.
4. You can also add handles to make it into a paper bag.
5. Congratulations, your done...

Mirror Pencil Sharpener & Eraser Comb Giveaway

Most items found inside a school supplies store can be made into a
simple and unique gift item. Now a days items such as pens, pencils, sharpeners,
erasers, crayons, notebooks, etc. come in various attractive designs & shapes.
With a little creativity & a lot of imagination, you can turn these ordinary
items into a masterpiece worthy to be given on your very special occasion.


Materials Needed:

1. Your item (in this case a Pencil sharpener mirror and an eraser shaped like a comb).
2. Small Plastic container (at least an inch bigger than the item).
3. A piece of ribbon or in this case a twisty tape of your desired color.
4. Photo paper or any colored paper to print your thank you note.
5. Scissors
6. A Computer
7. A Colored printer


Procedure:

1. Design, print & cut your thank you thank you note on a piece of photo or colored paper.
The size should not be bigger than the item.

2. Place all the items (sharpener,eraser, & thank you note) inside the plastic container.
You may also punch a hole on the corner of your thank you note and attach it to the plastic
container with a piece of ribbon or twisty tape.

3. Close the plastic container with a piece of ribbon or twisty tape.
4. Your done...
